Jan Osei-Tutu

Jan Osei-Tutu, J.D., LL.M

I founded JotKulture because I believe in building bridges and making intellectual property (IP) easy and accessible to busy entrepreneurs and to communities.

We write about IP, culture and cultural appropriation because it is confusing – and maybe even frustrating – for many business owners. But this is exactly why it is worth discussing. For companies who embrace social responsibility, a thoughtful approach to cultural trademarks and branding can play an important role in respectful cultural exchange.

Ms. Sucharita Ghosh, LL.B, LL.M.

Sucharita Ghosh, educated in India and England is an attorney with expertise in intellectual property law and cultural heritage. She has experience advising clients on trademark law in India, where she is licensed to practice. Ms. Ghosh completed her masters thesis on traditional knowledge and blogs about a range of topics relating to cultural heritage and traditions.
