Mutwa is a community that came from the region of Sindh-Pakistan and settled in the desert region of Kutch “Banni.” The Mutwa women use their spare time to do embroidery and make decorative pieces for houses, scarves, shawls, traditional bridal dresses, handbags, bed covers, etc., which are very famous in that region.
Rich with intangible cultural heritage and cultural intellectual property, tribal folk dances and music are also abundant in the Kutch district’s culture. Members of various local and tribal populations participate in their own unique folk music and joyful dances while clothed in their district’s bright and colourful traditional attire.
